The Greenville Symphony presents The Last Five Years: American Music Now, a bold program celebrating contemporary American music. This performance features works composed in the last five years, including the world premiere of a new composition by Ivan Enrique Rodriguez.

The program includes:

Clarice Assad: Circus Fantasia 
Katherine Balch: music for young water that danced beneath my feet (2021) 
Ivan Enrique Rodriguez: World premiere to be announced 
Lembit Beecher: Tell Me Again    

Principal Cellist Seth Russell will perform Beecher’s evocative Tell Me Again, highlighting the expressive power of the cello in contemporary music. This exciting concert showcases the freshest voices in orchestral music, including the premiere of Rodriguez’s latest composition.
