Improving the Silence: Eric Schultz with the Missing Link Ensemble performs Rodríguez Críptico No. 9 Davяthan.
Missing Link is a multi-dimensional project, working to rebuild the bond between performers and composers, and between audiences and contemporary music. The ensemble intends to bring performers and composers closer together in an intimate setting, providing dialogues between them and generating the space to work in a bi-directional way, generating a virtuous cycle that was so present in past times. Missing Link present new music that is accessible in a way that leaves both audiences and performers radiant in their shared musical experience. “Recreate”, “Bond”, “Connect”, “Believe”, are the words that drive us to build this project in a way that is growing day by day.
After successful concerts this past August in Buenos Aires and Córdoba, Argentina, Missing Link makes their US debut with the concert “Improving the Silence.” Their program features the New York premiere of Rodríguez’ Críptico No.9 “Davяthan” along side works by Lynn Bechtold, Dan Cooper, Emiliano Revert, Gene Pritsker, and Gabi Yaya.
The performance will the place on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 5:00pm EST in the Marc A. Scorca Hall at the National Opera Center.
