Composer-in-Residence • Massachusetts International Festival of the Arts • Rodríguez’ Transmutación Inerte Commission

The Massachusetts International Festival for the Arts (MIFA) has invited Iván Enrique Rodríguez to be Composer-in-Residence for the 2019-2020 season. The festival commissioned Rodríguez’ a new piece for Pierrot Ensemble that will be premiered on the closing concert in 2020. The MIFA invited Rodriguez for a two weeks long inaugural collaboration with the Victory Players during this summer of 2019 for an unparalleled creative exchange that will end up in the world premiere of his piece Transmutación Inerte next year.
